What you're buying

The Before You Cookbookis a 40-page digital ebook, delivered as a PDF after a one-time $8 USD purchase. There's no subscription, no recurring billing, and no physical product shipped. After payment, you'll receive an automatic download on the confirmation page and a backup email containing a download link that's valid for 24 hours.

Your license

When you buy the book, you get a personal-use license. That means:

• You can read it. Forever. On as many of your own devices as you want.
• You can't resell it, redistribute it, or upload it anywhere public.
• You can't share the PDF file with friends — please send them to the site instead.

Intellectual property

All content in the book — text, illustrations, layout, and design — is © Nick Oswald. The personal-use license above doesn't transfer ownership of any of it.

A note on the content itself

The Before You Cookbookis a satirical guide to a beginner's kitchen. It's meant for entertainment and general orientation, not as professional culinary, nutritional, or food-safety advice. If you have a serious dietary or medical concern, talk to someone qualified — not a satirical ebook.

The book and this website are provided "as is." We don't guarantee the site will be available 24/7 or free of bugs. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the book or the site. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in that jurisdiction.
